Seasonal Park Hours & Holiday Overlays
As of November 3, 2025, Dollywood is fully decked in festive lights, garlands and the scent of cinnamon pipe tobacco for Smoky Mountain Christmas. The park is open daily through January 4, 2026 from 10 AM–8 PM (closing at 6 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays in mid-January). Expect Santa’s Village at Craftsman’s Valley, the Glow Light Parade at dusk, and holiday carolers roaming Country Fair.
Ride Status & Reliability Notes
- Lightning Rod: Operating normally; recent capacity improvements have reduced downtimes. Plan for occasional slow-downs during peak periods.
- Big Bear Mountain: No scheduled refurbishments. Rope-drop here if Lightning Rod’s line exceeds 45 minutes.
- Mystery Mine & FireChaser Express: High throughput—great mid-morning targets. Watch for wind advisories above 25 mph, which temporarily halt both.
- Thunderhead & Tennessee Tornado: Reliable day-long operations. Rider-switch available at each’s exit kiosk.
